ADAM10,ametalloprotease-disintegrininthefamilyofmammalianADAM(foradisintegrinandmetalloprotease),wasrecentlyidentifiedtocleaveTNF-a,notchanditsliganddelta. Thegenesencodinghuman,mouse,andbovineADAM10wererecentlyclonedanddesignatedADAM10,kuzbanian(KUZ)andMADM,respectively. ADAM10mRNAisexpressedinavarietyofhumanandbovinetissues.Anti-ADAM10isidealforinvestigatorsinvolvedinNF-kappaB,Apoptosis,CytokinsandGrowthfactorresearch.
